✧ Maʿiz b. Malik came to the Prophet ﷺ and said that he had committed adultery. He turned away from him, but he repeated it to him several times, and he turned away from him. Then he asked his people, “Is he insane?” They said, “There is nothing wrong with him.” He said, “Did you do it with her?” He said, “Yes.” So he ordered that he be stoned. He was taken away and stoned, and he did not pray over him.
