حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ: نَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ قَالَ: نَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُلْقِي الْكَلِمَةَ مِنْ رِضْوَانِ اللهِ مَا يُلْقِي لَهَا بَالًا، فَيُكْتَبُ بِهَا مِنْ أَهْلِ رِضْوَانِ اللهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُلْقِي الْكَلِمَةَ مِنْ سَخَطِ اللهِ مَا يُلْقِي لَهَا بَالًا فَيُكْتَبُ بِهَا مِنْ أَهْلِ سَخَطِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَاهُ

✧ Indeed a man may utter a word that is pleasing to Allah, giving it no thought, and because of it Allah will record him as one of the people of His good pleasure until the Day of Resurrection. And indeed a man may utter a word that brings Allah’s wrath, giving it no thought, and because of it Allah will record him as one of the people of His wrath until the day he meets Him.
