حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السِّمَّرِيُّ النَّاقِدُ قَالَ: نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الشَّيْلَمَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
بَشَّرْتُ بِلَالًا فَقَالَ لِي: يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ، بِمَ تُبَشِّرُنِي ؟ فَقُلْتُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: يَجِيءُ بِلَالٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رَاحِلَةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَزِمَامُهَا مِنْ دُرٍّ وَيَاقُوتٍ، مَعَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَتْبَعُهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ، فَيُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ، حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَيُدْخِلُ مَنْ أَذَّنَ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا، يُرِيدُ بِذَلِكَ وَجْهَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

✧ I brought good news to Bilal, and he said to me: O ʿAbdullah, what good news do you bring me? I said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Bilal will come on the Day of Resurrection riding a mount of gold, its rein of pearl and ruby, with a banner, and the muʾadhdhins will follow him, and he will admit them into Paradise, so much so that he will admit one who called the adhan for forty mornings, seeking thereby the countenance of Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
