حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْفَرْغَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي الرَّبَابِ الرَّمْلِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ الرَّمْلِيُّ قَالَ: نَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ أَلْقَى مِنَ الْمَذْيِ شِدَّةً وَعَنَتًا وَكُنْتُ أُكْثِرُ مِنْهُ الْغُسْلَ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنَّمَا يُجْزِيكَ مِنْهُ الْوُضُوءُ، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ بِمَا يُصِيبُ ثَوْبِي مِنْهُ ؟ قَالَ: " يَكْفِيكَ كَفٌّ مِنْ مَاءٍ تَنْضَحُ بِهِ ثَوْبَكَ حَيْثُ تَرَى أَنَّهُ أَصَابَهُ

✧ I suffered greatly and with difficulty from prostatic fluid, and I used to wash often because of it. I mentioned that to the Messenger of God ﷺ and he said, “Ablution suffices you for it.” I said, “O Messenger of God, what about what gets on my garment from it?” He said, “A handful of water is enough for you: sprinkle it on your garment wherever you see that it has touched it.”
