حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: نَا نَصَّارُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ: نَا أَصْرَمُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ قَالَ: نَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

الْيَوْمَ الرِّهَانُ، وَغَدًا السِّبَاقُ، وَالْغَايَةُ الْجَنَّةُ، وَالْهَالِكُ مَنْ دَخَلَ النَّارَ، أَنَا الْأَوَّلُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمُصَلِّي، وَعُمَرُ الثَّالِثُ، وَالنَّاسُ بَعْدَنَا عَلَى السَّبْقِ، الْأَوَّلَ فَالْأَوَّلَ

✧ Today is the betting, tomorrow the race, and the goal is Paradise. The perished one is he who enters the Fire. I am the first, Abū Bakr is the second, ʿUmar is the third, and the people after us are according to their precedence, the first then the first.
