✧ I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when Fāṭimah approached. She stood facing the Prophet ﷺ, opposite him. He said: 'Come closer, O Fāṭimah,' so she came a little closer. Then he said: 'Come closer, O Fāṭimah,' so she came a little closer. Then he said: 'Come closer, O Fāṭimah,' so she came until she stood before him. ʿImrān said: I saw a pallor appear on her face, and the blood drained away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spread his fingers, then placed his palm between her collarbones, raised his head, and said: 'O Allah, Satisfier of hunger, Fulfiller of need, Raiser of the lowly, do not let Fāṭimah, daughter of Muḥammad, go hungry.' Then I saw the pallor of hunger leave her face and the blood return. Later I asked her about it, and she said: 'I was not hungry after that, O ʿImrān.'
