✧ At the end of time there will be a tribulation in which people will be sifted as gold is sifted in the mine. Do not revile the people of Syria, but revile their wicked ones, for among them are the abdāl. A cause from heaven is about to be sent against the people of Syria and scatter their assembly, until even foxes, were they to fight them, would defeat them. Then a man from my household will come out with three banners. The one who exaggerates says they are fifteen thousand; the one who undercounts says they are twelve thousand. Their watchword is “amit, amit.” They will meet seven banners, under each of which a man seeks kingship, and Allah will slay them all. Allah will restore to the Muslims their affection, their blessing, their distant ones and their near ones.
