✧ Ahmad b. Muhammad b. al-Hajjaj al-Misri

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ. عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

أَيُّمَا مَمْلُوكٍ بَيْنَ شُرَكَاءَ، فَأَعْتَقَ أَحَدُهُمْ نَصِيبَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ يُقَامُ فِيهَا لِلَّذِي أَعْتَقَ عَدْلٌ فَيَعْتِقُ إِنْ بَلَغَ مَالَهُ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Ayyūb
  2. Nāfiʿ
  3. Ibn ʿUmar
  4. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ Any slave owned by partners, if one of them frees his share, then a fair value is established for the one who freed him, and he becomes completely free if his wealth reaches that amount.
