✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ set out on the expedition of Hunayn on the eighteenth of Ramadan, while he was fasting. They passed by a river and stared at it. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to them, "Will you drink?" They said, "Shall we drink while you are fasting?" The Messenger of God ﷺ called for a vessel and drank. When the Messenger of God ﷺ finished the expedition of Hunayn and al-Ta'if, he came to al-Ji'ranah and distributed the spoils there, and performed 'umrah from there.
