حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ الْمَهْدِيُّ بِعَهْدِي، وَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَصْلُبَ فِي الْحُكْمِ، وَقَالَ فِي كِتَابِهِ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ. عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " قَالَ رَبُّكَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى:

وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي لَأَنْتَقِمَنَّ مِنَ الظَّالِمِ فِي عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، وَلَأَنْتَقِمَنَّ مِمَّنْ رَأَى مَظْلُومًا فَقَدَرَ أَنْ يَنْصُرَهُ، فَلَمْ يَفْعَلْ

✧ By My might and majesty, I will surely take vengeance on the wrongdoer in this world and the Hereafter, and I will surely take vengeance on the one who sees someone wronged and is able to help him but does not do so.
