حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَالِكِيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْمٍ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ:
مَرَّ بِنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ نَجْتَنِي ثَمَرَ الْأَرَاكِ: فَقَالَ: عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْأَسْوَدِ مِنْهُ، فَإِنِّي كُنْتُ أَجْتَنِيهِ وَأَنَا أَرْعَى الْغَنَمَ، فَقَالُوا: رَعَيْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، وَمَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ رَعَاهَا

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by us while we were picking the fruit of the arak tree. He said: 'Take the black ones from it, for I used to pick them when I was shepherding sheep.' They said: 'You shepherded, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Yes, and there is no prophet except that he shepherded them.'
