حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَكِيعِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْكَاهِلِيِّ قَالَ:

خَطَبَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى، فَقَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا الشِّرْكَ، فَإِنَّهُ أَخْفَى مِنْ دَبِيبِ النَّمْلِ فَقَالَ مَنْ شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ: وَكَيْفَ نَتَّقِيهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَهُوَ أَخْفَى مِنْ دَبِيبِ النَّمْلِ ؟ قَالَ: " قُولُوا: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ نُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا تَعْلَمُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا نَعْلَمُ

✧ Abu Musa addressed us and said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ addressed us and said: 'O people, beware of polytheism, for it is more hidden than the crawling of an ant.' Someone whom God willed to speak said: 'How can we beware of it, O Messenger of God, when it is more hidden than the crawling of an ant?' He said: 'Say: O God, we seek refuge in You from associating anything with You that You know, and we seek Your forgiveness for what we do not know.'"
