حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ قَالَ: نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْكُوفِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الْمِقْدَامِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنِ أَخِي زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ:

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَقَالَتْ: " مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنْتُمْ ؟ " فَقُلْتُ: مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ. فَقَالَتْ: " أَنْتُمُ الَّذِينَ تَشْتُمُونَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ؟ " قُلْتُ: مَا عَلِمْنَا أَحَدًا يَشْتُمُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ. قَالَتْ: " بَلَى، أَلَيْسَ تَلْعَنُونَ عَلِيًّا ؟ وَتَلْعَنُونَ مَنْ يُحِبُّهُ ؟ " وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُحِبُّهُ

✧ I entered upon Umm Salamah, the Mother of the Believers, and she said: "Where are you from?" I said: "From the people of Kufah." She said: "Are you the ones who revile the Prophet ﷺ?" I said: "We do not know anyone who reviles the Prophet ﷺ." She said: "Yes, do you not curse 'Ali? And curse those who love him?" And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved him.
