حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، قَالَ: نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، وَكَتَبْتُهُ مِنْ أَصْلِ كِتَابِهِ، قَالَ: نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ خَمْسًا، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، زِيدَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ؟ قَالَ: " وَمَا ذَاكَ ؟ " فَقَالُوا: صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا قَالَ: فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ prayed Zuhr as five rak'ahs, and it was said, “O Messenger of God, has something been added to the prayer?” He said, “What is that?” They said, “You prayed five.” He said, and he prostrated twice.
