✧ He used to say, when he said "God hears the one who praises Him": "O God, our Lord, to You belongs all praise, filling the heavens and filling the earth, and filling whatever else You will. You are most worthy of praise and glory. The truest thing a servant says—and we are all Your servants—is: no one can withhold what You give, and no one can give what You withhold, nor does the fortune of the fortunate avail him against You."
