✧ Bakr b. Sahl al-Dimyati

حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرٌ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: نَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ، مَوْلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

إِذَا حَكَمَ الْحَاكِمُ فَاجْتَهَدَ ثُمَّ أَصَابَ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ، وَإِذَا حَكَمَ فَاجْتَهَدَ ثُمَّ أَخْطَأَ فَلَهُ أَجْرٌ

✧ When a judge judges and strives, then reaches the right decision, he has two rewards. When he judges and strives, then errs, he has one reward.
