حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ أَبُو شُرَيْحٍ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَهْلَ بْنَ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
لَا تُشَدِّدُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ، فَإِنَّمَا هَلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ بِتَشْدِيدِهِمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ، وَسَتَجِدُونَ بَقَايَاهُمْ فِي الصَّوَامِعِ وَالدِّيَارَاتِ
