حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ قَالَ: أَنَا مُوسَى الْقَارِيُّ قَالَ: نَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ وَلَا وَالٍ إِلَّا وَلَهُ بِطَانَتَانِ: بِطَانَةٌ تَأْمُرُهُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَاهُ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، وَبِطَانَةٌ لَا تَأْلُوهُ خَبَالًا، فَمَنْ وُقِيَ شَرَّهَا فَقَدْ وُقِيَ

✧ There is no prophet or ruler who does not have two types of close associates: one that commands him to do good and forbids him from evil, and one that does not spare any effort to corrupt him. Whoever is protected from the evil of the latter is indeed protected.
