حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ قَالَ: نَا الذَّيَّالُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَدِّي حَنْظَلَةَ بْنَ حِذْيَمٍ يَقُولُ:
وَفَدْتُ مَعَ جَدِّي حِذْيَمٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لِي بَنِينَ ذَوِي لِحًى وَغَيْرَهُمْ، وَهَذَا أَصْغَرُهُمْ، فَأَدْنَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَسَحَ رَأْسِي، وَقَالَ: " بَارَكَ اللهُ فِيكَ قَالَ الذَّيَّالُ: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ حَنْظَلَةَ يُؤْتَى بِالرَّجُلِ الْوَارِمِ وَجْهُهُ وَالشَّاةِ الْوَارِمِ ضَرْعُهَا، فَيَقُولُ: بِاسْمِ اللهِ، عَلَى مَوْضِعِ كَفِّ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَيَمْسَحُهُ، فَيَذْهَبُ الْوَرَمُ.

✧ I came as a delegate with my grandfather Hidhyam to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said: O Messenger of God, I have sons with beards and others, and this is the youngest of them. The Messenger of God ﷺ brought me close and wiped my head, and said: "May God bless you." Al-Dhayyal said: I saw Hanzalah when a man with a swollen face or a sheep with a swollen udder was brought to him, and he would say: In the name of God, on the place of the palm of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he would wipe it, and the swelling would go away.
