حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ قَالَ: نَا سَعْدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ قَالَ: نَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:

كَانَ جِبْرِيلُ إِذَا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِالْقُرْآنِ، كَانَ أَوَّلَ مَا يُلْقِي عَلَيْهِ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، فَإِذَا قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، الثَّانِيَةَ، عَلِمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ قَدْ خَتَمَ السُّورَةَ

✧ When Jibril came to the Prophet ﷺ with the Quran, the first thing he would recite to him was Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim. When Jibril said Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim a second time, the Prophet ﷺ knew that he had completed the surah.
