✧ The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are matters that are doubtful. Whoever avoids them is more careful for his religion and his honor, and whoever falls into doubtful matters is likely to fall into the unlawful, like a shepherd grazing around a sanctuary who is likely to graze within the sanctuary without realizing it.
