Chain of narrators
- ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr
✧ They were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey when they passed by the grave of Abu Righal. They said: What is this, O Messenger of Allah? He said: This is the grave of Abu Righal, and he was the father of Thaqif. He was a man from Thamud, and his dwelling was in the Haram. When Allah destroyed his people with what He destroyed them, He protected him because of his location in the Haram. Then he departed until when he reached here, he died and was buried, and a branch of gold was buried with him. So we hurried to it and extracted it.
