حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ قَالَ: نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي عُمَرَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

كُنَّا نَنْبِذُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سِقَاءٍ يُوكَأُ أَعْلَاهُ عَزَالِيٌّ مُعَلَّقٌ، نَنْبِذُهُ غُدْوَةً، فَيَشْرَبُهُ عِشَاءً، وَنَنْبِذُهُ عِشَاءً، فَيَشْرَبُهُ غُدْوَةً.

✧ We used to prepare nabidh for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a waterskin whose top was tied, with a spout, hung up. We would prepare it in the morning, and he would drink it in the evening; and we would prepare it in the evening, and he would drink it in the morning.
