✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was lying under a tree with his hand under his head. I said, "O Messenger of God, will you not supplicate against these people who we fear may turn us away from our religion?" He turned his face away from me. I moved around to face him again, and he turned his face away from me three times, each time I said the same and he turned away. On the third time he sat up and said, "O people, fear God. By God, a believer before you would have a saw placed on his head and be split in two, yet he would not abandon his religion. Fear God, for God, Mighty and Majestic, will open for you and provide."
