✧ The two sons of Mulaykah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, our mother used to be mindful of her husband and honor the guest, and she died in the Jahiliyyah. So where is our mother?" He said, "Your mother is in the Fire." They stood up and that was hard on them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called them back, so they returned, and he said, "My mother is with your mother." A man from the hypocrites said, "And what does this avail his mother at all, while we tread on his heels?" Then a young man from the Ansar—I have not seen a man who asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more questions than him—said, "O Messenger of Allah, where is your father?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I asked my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, for them both, and I will indeed stand at the Praised Station."
