وَعَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

يُصْبِحُ النَّاسُ مُجْدِبِينَ، فَيَأْتِيهِمُ اللهُ بِرِزْقٍ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ، فَيُصْبِحُوا مُشْرِكِينَ، يَقُولُونَ: مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا

Translation

✧ People wake up in drought, then Allah brings them provision from Himself, and they wake up as polytheists, saying: "We were given rain because of such-and-such a star."
