حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ قَالَ: أَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمِّي عُمَارَةُ بْنُ ثَوْبَانَ، أَنَّ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ غُلَامًا أَحْمِلُ عُضْوًا لِبَعِيرٍ، فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْسِمُ لَحْمًا بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ، فَجَاءَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ، فَبَسَطَ لَهَا رِدَاءَهُ، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَذِهِ ؟ قِيلِ: أُمُّهُ الَّتِي أَرْضَعَتْهُ.

✧ I was a boy carrying the limb of a camel, and I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributing meat at al-Ji'ranah. A woman came to him, and he spread his cloak for her. I said: "Who is this?" It was said: "His mother who nursed him."
