✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ receiving the pledge of allegiance from the people at Qarn Masfalah. Men, women, young and old came to him and pledged allegiance to him upon Islam and the shahada. I said: "What is the shahada?" Muhammad b. al-Aswad informed me, saying: "Upon the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."
