حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ قَالَ: نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْكُوفِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ الْغَنَوِيُّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرَيْدَةَ. عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ: عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا، وَلَا تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ أَنْ تَنْتَبِذُوا فِي الْأَوْعِيَةِ وَاشْرَبُوا فِيمَا بَدَا لَكُمْ، وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا

✧ I had forbidden you three things: visiting graves—so visit them, but do not say anything indecent; and I had forbidden you the meat of sacrificial animals—so eat and store it; and I had forbidden you to soak [dates] in certain vessels—so drink in whatever you like, but do not drink any intoxicant.
