حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ: نَا رَبَاحُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، قَالَ:
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَامِرِ بْنِ وَاثِلَةَ، فَوَجَدْتُهُ طَيِّبَ النَّفْسِ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ أَخْبِرْنِي مَنِ النَّفَرُ الَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَهَمَّ أَنْ يُخْبِرَنِي، فَقَالَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ سَوْدَةُ: مَهْ يَا أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ، أَمَا بَلَغَكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ، فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ دَعَوْتُ عَلَيْهِ بِدَعْوَةٍ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ زَكَاةً وَرَحْمَةً
Translation

✧ I entered upon Abu al-Tufayl Amir b. Wathila and found him in good spirits. I said, 'O Abu al-Tufayl, tell me who are the group whom the Messenger of God ﷺ cursed?' He was about to tell me when his wife Sawda said, 'Enough, O Abu al-Tufayl. Has it not reached you that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "O God, I am only a human being. Whichever believing servant I have invoked against, make it a purification and mercy for him"?'
