حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: نَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَخْبَرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَحَوْلَ الْكَعْبَةِ ثَلَاثُمِائَةٍ وَسِتُّونَ صَنَمًا، فَجَعَلَ يَطْعَنُهَا فَتَسَّاقَطُ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah on the Day of Conquest, and around the Ka'bah there were three hundred and sixty idols. He began piercing them, and they fell on their faces, while he said: Truth has come and falsehood has perished; indeed falsehood is bound to perish.
