✧ I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was performing ablution, and in front of him was a vessel of about one mudd, and if it increased, it increased little, and if it decreased, it decreased little. He washed his hands, rinsed his mouth and snuffed water three times each, washed his face three times, ran his fingers through his beard, washed his forearms three times each, wiped his head and ears twice each, and washed his feet until he cleansed them. I said: O Messenger of Allah, is this how ablution is done? He said: "This is how my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, commanded me."
