✧ The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that many people do not know whether they are lawful or unlawful. Whoever leaves them is more prudent for his honor and religion, and whoever falls into them is likely to fall into the unlawful, like a shepherd grazing near a sanctuary is likely to enter it. Indeed, every king has a sanctuary, and God’s sanctuary is His prohibitions.
