حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ هَارُونَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ الْأَدَمِيُّ قَالَ: نَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الدَّبَّاغُ قَالَ: نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْحِمَّانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَزَلَ ظَهْرَ مَرٍّ، فَأُهْدِيَ عُضْوَ صَيْدٍ، فَرَدَّهُ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ، وَقَالَ لَهُ: اقْرَأْ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ، وَقُلْ: لَوْلَا أَنَّا حُرُمٌ مَا رَدَدْنَاهُ عَلَيْكَ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ stopped at the back of Marr. A limb of game was given as a gift, so he returned it to the messenger and said to him: "Convey peace to him and say: 'Were we not in a state of ihram, we would not have returned it to you.'"
