✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ stood between the men and the women, urged the men to give charity, then turned to the women and urged them to give charity. Zaynab, the wife of ʿAbd Allah, sent Bilal to him, saying: “Convey peace to the Messenger of God ﷺ from a woman among the Emigrants, but do not reveal her identity. Ask him: Does she have a reward if she gives charity to her husband from the Emigrants, who has nothing, and to orphans in her care, who are the sons of her brother, directing her charity to them?” Bilal came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: “Yes, she has two rewards: the reward of kinship and the reward of charity.”
