حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَامِعٍ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ: نَا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ
يَقُولُ فِي بَنِي تَمِيمٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَشْيَاءٍ، لَا أَزَالُ أُحِبُّهُمْ أَبَدًا. أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَعَمٌ مِنْ نَعَمِ الصَّدَقَةِ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، فَقَالَ: هَذِهِ نَعَمُ قَوْمِي، جَعَلَهُمْ قَوْمَهُ، وَكَانَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ نَذْرٌ عَلَى أَنْ تَعْتِقَ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ سَبْيٌ مِنْ خَوْلَانَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " أَعْتِقِي مِنْهُمْ، فَإِنَّهُمْ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَهُمْ أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَلَى الدَّجَّالِ " يَعْنِي: بَنِي تَمِيمٍ

✧ He says regarding Banu Tamim three things: I will never cease loving them forever. Some camels of the zakah camels from Banu Tamim came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: “These are the camels of my people,” making them his people. And ‘A’ishah had a vow to free a slave from the descendants of Isma‘il, and captives from Khawlan were brought to him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Free from among them, for they are from the descendants of Isma‘il, and they are the severest of people against the Dajjal,” meaning Banu Tamim.
