حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا بِشْرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ: نَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ. عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَا خَيَّبَ اللهُ عَبْدًا قَامَ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ، فَافْتَتَحَ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ وَآلِ عِمْرَانَ، وَنِعْمَ كَنْزُ الْمَرْءِ الْبَقَرَةُ، وَآلُ عِمْرَانَ

Translation

✧ Allah does not disappoint a servant who stands in the middle of the night and begins Surah al-Baqarah and Al 'Imran. And what an excellent treasure for a man are al-Baqarah and Al 'Imran.
