حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْمَغَازِلِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ
أَنَّهُ أَعَارَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سِلَاحًا، وَهِيَ ثَمَانُونَ دِرْعًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ صَفْوَانُ: عَارِيَةٌ مَضْمُونَةٌ أَوْ غَصْبًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: بَلْ عَارِيَةٌ مَضْمُونَةٌ
Translation

✧ He lent the Prophet ﷺ some weapons, which were eighty coats of mail. Safwan said to him: "Is it a guaranteed loan or a usurpation?" The Prophet ﷺ said to him: "Rather, it is a guaranteed loan."
