حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الْفَرَّاءُ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ خِرَاشٍ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ مَجْزَأَةَ بْنِ زَاهِرٍ. عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ

أَنَّ عَمَّهُ ضَرَبَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، فَقَتَلَهُ وَجَرَحَ نَفْسَهُ، فَأَنْشَأَ يَقُولُ: قَتَلْتُ نَفْسِي. فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: لَهُ أَجْرَانِ

✧ His uncle struck a man from the polytheists and killed him, wounding himself in the process. He began to say, "I have killed myself." This reached the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: "He will have two rewards."
