Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ fell from a horse and his right side was scraped, so he prayed with us sitting, and we lined up behind him sitting. When we finished, the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "The imam is appointed only to be followed. When he says the takbir, say the takbir; when he bows, bow; when he says, 'God hears the one who praises Him,' say, 'Our Lord, to You be praise'; when he prays standing, pray standing; and when he prays sitting, pray sitting, all of you."
