حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا رَوَّادُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ عَنْ خُلَيْدِ بْنِ دَعْلَجٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ. عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ:

كَتَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى كِسْرَى وَقَيْصَرَ، وَإِلَى كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ، يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَذَلِكَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ لأُنْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ وَمَنْ بَلَغَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ wrote to Chosroes and Caesar and to every tyrant, calling them to God, Mighty and Majestic, when this verse was revealed to him: And this Quran was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches.
