✧ I was with 'Ali on the day of the Nahrawan, and he said, "Search for the maimed one." So they searched but did not find him. 'Ali said, "By God, I have not lied and have not been lied to." Then 'Ali got up and walked among the slain. He came to a group lying in a low spot of the ground among the slain. He said, "Turn these over." They turned them over, and there was the maimed one, on whose arm was something like a woman's breast. He said the takbir and said, "God and His Messenger have spoken the truth."
