حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْيَمَامِيُّ قَالَ: نَا حُبَابُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ. عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَيْسَ بِمَكَّةَ أَصْلُ عِنَبٍ، وَالظُّرُوفُ مَمْلُوءَةٌ بُسْرًا وَتَمْرًا، فَأَمَرَ بِهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، فَأُكْفِئَتْ

✧ The prohibition of wine descended upon the Messenger of God ﷺ when there was no origin of grapes in Makkah, and the vessels were filled with unripe dates and dried dates. The Messenger of God ﷺ ordered them, and they were overturned.
