حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَطْمِيُّ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ غُرَابٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ ابْنَةُ طَلْحَةَ. عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَتْ:
كُنَّا نَتَّخِذُ عَصَائِبَ فِيهَا الْوَرْسُ وَالزَّعْفَرَانُ، فَنَعْصِبُ بِهَا أَسَافِلَ رُءُوسِنَا عِنْدَ الْإِحْرَامِ، ثُمَّ نُحْرِمُ كَذَلِكَ، نَعْرَقُ فِيهِنَّ، وَنَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهِنَّ، حَتَّى نَحِلَّ

✧ We used to make headbands containing wars and saffron, and we would tie them around the lower parts of our heads when entering ihram, then enter ihram in that state. We would sweat in them and perform ablution while wearing them until we exited ihram.
