حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ قَالَ: نَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ وَحَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ. عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى السَّرِيرِ مَوْضِعَ الْجِنَازَةِ، وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، فَأَكْرَهُ أَنْ أَسْتَتِمَّ قَائِمَةً، فَأَنْسَلُّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رِجْلَيِ السَّرِيرِ. وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيَّ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ وَاحِدٌ

✧ I saw myself before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the bed with the place of the funeral, and he was praying, and I disliked to remain standing, so I slipped away from beside the legs of the bed. And I saw myself and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was praying, and upon me and upon him was a single garment.
