حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صُدْرَانَ قَالَ: نَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
السَّاعِي عَلَى الْأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، أَوْ كَالْقَائِمِ لَيْلَهُ، الصَّائِمِ نَهَارَهُ. وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ - لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ -، إِذَا اتَّقَى اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، أَنَا وَهُوَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ " يَعْنِي: إِصْبَعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةَ وَالْوُسْطَى

✧ The one who strives for the widow and the needy is like the one who fights in the path of God, or like the one who stands in prayer at night and fasts during the day. And the guardian of the orphan—whether related to him or not—if he fears God, Mighty and Majestic, then I and he will be in Paradise like these two," meaning his index and middle fingers.
