وَبِهِ: عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ، فَقَالَ: قَدْ أَكْثَرْتُمْ فِيهِ. فَإِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا، فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ قَالَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا، فَأَنَا أَقُولُ فِيهِ: نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ فَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَاعْزِلُوا، وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَلَا تَعْزِلُوا

Translation

✧ I asked Ibn ʿAbbas about coitus interruptus. He said: 'You have asked much about it. If the Messenger of God ﷺ said anything about it, then it is as he said. If he did not say anything about it, then I say about it: "Your wives are a tilth for you, so come to your tilth as you will." So if you wish, practice coitus interruptus, and if you wish, do not practice it.'
