✧ My maternal uncle Hani' b. Niyar slaughtered his sacrifice before going out to the prayer, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded him to offer another sacrifice in its place. He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have a jadha'ah (a year-old sheep) that is better than a musinnah (an older sheep).' He said, 'Sacrifice it, but it will not suffice for anyone after you.'
