وَبِهِ: أَنَا سَيَّارٌ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ. عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ:
بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: عَلَى مَا تُبَايِعُنِي ؟ قُلْتُ: عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ. فَلَقَّنَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
Translation

✧ I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said: “On what do you pledge allegiance to me?” I said: “On hearing and obedience.” The Messenger of God ﷺ prompted me: “In what I am able, and sincere counsel to every Muslim.”
