وَبِهِ: عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ. عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا:

عُرِضَ عَلَيَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ، فَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ يَجِيءُ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُ إِلَّا الرَّجُلُ، وَيَجِيءُ الْآخَرُ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ إِلَّا الرَّجُلَانِ، وَيَجِيءُ النَّبِيُّ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ إِلَّا النَّفَرُ الْيَسِيرُ كَذَلِكَ، وَعُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ أُمَّتِي، فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي، فَإِذَا الظِّرَابُ قَدْ سَدَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الْأُفُقِ

Translation

✧ The prophets were presented to me. A prophet would come with only one man, another would come with two men, and a prophet would come with only a small group, like that. Then my ummah was presented to me, and I raised my head, and there were the hills filling the space between me and the horizon.
